FAQ / How To Build Your Website

Basic Instructions for setting up your website.

1. Go to our "Create a Website" page
2. Select a website theme that appeals to you. You can easily change this later.
3. Select the type of website content, eg Shop / Retail.   (This step may be skipped on some themes)
4. Enter your contact details and submit
5. Check your email inbox (or spam folder) to get your login password.
6. Login to our CMS (Content Management System) using the details in that email
7. There are lots of things you can do, and we will focus on the basics below (Learn more)
8. Add a banner image to your website incorporating your logo/brand. (Learn more)
9. Click on "Products" then "Add Item" to create your products. (Learn more) 
10. Add any shipping fees under the "Freight" tab  (Learn more)
11. Add payment options. We suggest "online banking", "stripe" or "paypal" for lack of any monthly fees. (Learn more) (other options)
12. Press PUBLISH and/or view your trial site URL to see your progress.

Go Live!

1. You will need a web address (aka domain name). Click on the DOMAINS/EMAIL tab for more info. 
2. Or we can provide you with a free domain name ending in .business.net.nz, please email support@website.world with your choice.  eg  "organicsoap.business.net.nz"
3. There is no cost to go live/host for students (Ignore comments to the contrary).
4. Please contact support@website.world and identify your participation in a student learning program. 
5. Wait 1 business day, we will reply when we have made your site live.
